On June 1, 1979, our Senior Attorney and Founder, Bill DesChamps, generated the first fees for his new law practice from the closing of the Kings Road Motor Lodge, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The motel was a leasehold property and the security documents included a collateral assignment of the ground lease. Since 1979, DesChamps Law Firm has represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including land and golf course acquisition and financing; motel and hotel acquisition and financing; condominium conversion and financing; shopping center and mall acquisition and financing; marina acquisition and financing; restaurant acquisition and financing; beachwear store acquisition and financing; and medical building acquisition and financing.
